Nitrous Oxide Exposure

NIOSH has issued a warning to the dental and veterinary professionals who work with N2O. NIOSH warns that without preventive measures such as scavenging systems in place, workers may be at risk for serious health effects due to their exposure. NIOSH reports that without scavenging systems exposure can be over 40x the recommended limit. This demonstrates that simply using the system is not sufficient, it must be periodically monitored to reduce N2O exposure.
 
ASI will survey your office providing a direct and immediate readout of N2O levels. As recommended by NIOSH, a portable infrared analyzer is used to detect levels of N2O. By pin pointing leaks, repairs can be made, scavenger systems verified, and  a safer working environment developed.
